How many people suffer from allergies in the first months of spring?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Allergens of Spring:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In Ukraine:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Birch:<\/strong> Sensitization to birch pollen occurs in 34% of patients with hay fever.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alder:<\/strong> Sensitivity to alder pollen has been found in 21.6% of patients with hay fever.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hazel:<\/strong> Sensitization to hazel pollen is 19% among patients with hay fever.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Oak:<\/strong> Oak pollen may cause allergic reactions due to cross-reactivity with birch and alder pollen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In Europe:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Birch:<\/strong> Allergy to birch pollen is one of the most common in Northern and Central Europe, sensitivity ranges from 8% to 16%.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alder and Hazel:<\/strong> Important allergens, especially in regions where these trees are widespread.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Oak:<\/strong> Less common allergen, but it can cause symptoms in people with polysensitization to tree pollen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cross-Reactivity:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pollen from these trees has high cross-reactivity.
