It is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects a child&#8217;s communication skills and behavior. Early recognition of its symptoms and timely intervention can make a significant difference in a child&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<h5>How can a special education teacher help?<\/h5>\n<p>Our specialist works with children to help them not only develop language skills but also learn essential social abilities that aid in adapting to everyday life. Together with other professionals at our Medical Center, we create an inclusive environment where every child can feel comfortable and confident.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key signs to look out for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Challenging behavior \u2013 the child cannot express what they want, cries or screams when a walking route is changed or a game is interrupted.<\/li>\n<li>Lack of sound imitation \u2013 no active or passive vocabulary.<\/li>\n<li>No pointing gesture \u2013 to get something, the child uses an adult\u2019s hand, cries, or screams.
